I hold a B.A. in Counselling Skills and Addiction Studies from the Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences (ICHAS) and a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Irish Institute of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP). I am pre pre-accredited member of both the National Association for Professional Counselling & Psychotherapy (NAPCP) and the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). Growing up in Tallaght, Dublin, I developed a deep appreciation for multicultural experiences, which has significantly shaped my approach to therapy. My background, combined with my fluency in English and Somali, allows me to provide culturally sensitive support to clients from diverse backgrounds.

My Approach to Therapy
I am committed to creating a safe, welcoming, collaborative and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe that each individual has the innate capacity to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. My role as a therapist is to guide and support you through the therapeutic relationship, empowering you to resolve issues and foster personal growth. I understand that life's challenges can feel overwhelming, and I am here to support you as you navigate these difficulties. By fostering a deeper understanding of yourself, you can create opportunities to achieve greater confidence, clarity, and resilience. I take pride in offering you a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic environment where you can discover solutions that align with your personal goals.
