Hi, I'm Miriam. I have Ugandan and British heritage, but Ireland is now my home as I've lived here for over two decades!
I've been working as a therapist since 2013 when I completed my Masters in Psychotherapy.
I offer one-to-one sessions with adult clients, online or in person in Dublin 7.
Therapy can be short-term or open-ended depending on your personal needs and goals.
I provide a confidential listening space where you can be yourself and talk through whatever's troubling you.
With empathy and understanding I'll support you to learn, grow and to develop your coping skills and resilience.
I offer inclusive, culturally sensitive therapy; so no matter your race, sexual orientation, gender, disability or class I want to make sure that you feel seen, heard and accepted.
With new awareness and insights, you can make sense of your past and discover more fulfilling ways to live in the present. Please get in touch if you would like to harness your inner resources, make positive changes and develop tools to increase and maintain your wellbeing.
Accreditation:
Accredited member of IAHIP (Irish Association for Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy) since 2020.
Core qualifications:
MA in Psychotherapy - 2013, Higher Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy - 2010, both from Dublin Business School.
