I am an APCP-accredited Psychotherapist, MBACP, and GMBPsS with over 12 years of experience
as a psychological therapist and trainer. I hold a BA (Hons) in Applied Psychology from University College Cork,
a Master's degree in Psychotherapy from Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences, Ireland
and a Postgraduate Certificate in Couple Therapy.
Over the years, I have developed expertise across a range of counselling and psychotherapy approaches.
I have a particular interest in short and brief therapy approaches, as well as cultural competence in therapeutic practice. Throughout my career, I have worked within Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs)
and across the private, public, academic, and voluntary sectors.
I am a trusted trainer with APCP, and the CPD courses I deliver are recognised by APCP
and other professional accreditation bodies plus institutions.
I am a Senior Trainer for psychological and allied healthcare courses at
BII Open Learning (https://portal.biiopenlearning.com).
I also deliver CPD training for professional bodies, charitable organisations, academic institutions, and healthcare settings.
I am committed to supporting psychological and allied healthcare professionals to
strengthen their clinical skills and apply evidence-based approaches in practice.
