Alex Onome Aroh is originally from Nigeria and has been living in Ireland for over 15 years with wife and children. Alex holds a BSc Honours in Psychology from Dublin City University (DCU) and is currently doing his MSc in Psychotherapy in DCU. Alex uses a wide range of counselling approaches in helping clients reach their goals and potentials. Alex has vast experience working with clients of any background in developing a therapeutic relationship in a non-judgemental, trusting and confidential environment. Alex works in assisting clients to reach and attain the state of autonomy, maintain self confidence, being in control of self and understanding of self. Alex shows unconditional positive regards and acceptance for all his clients no matter their nationality, ethnicity, gender or background. Alex is compassionate and has been offering pastoral care for over 14 years and his love for humanity is outstanding.

Alex has been running a CBT programme since 2019 and has been working with SOSAD (Save Our Sons and Daughters) since 2020 on their suicide prevention in Ireland. Alex is a member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
