"Connection is why we’re here; it is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives." — Brené Brown
My work is guided by a deep passion for connecting with people—connection with ourselves, with others,
and with the world around us. This love of connection led me to the healing profession as a counsellor and psychotherapist.

My name is Natanielle Hynes Lapoule, and I’m originally from Mauritius. I hold a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences (ICHAS) and am an accredited member of the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland.

In therapy, I create a warm and supportive space where clients can feel safe as they explore themselves. Together, we work on self-regulation techniques, understanding behavioural patterns, and developing coping strategies that empower you to navigate life with greater awareness and ease.

I work collaboratively with each person, taking an integrative approach that draws from a variety of therapeutic methods to meet your unique needs, including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), somatic practices, and mindfulness-based techniques.

I’m also a trained and certified Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner—a trauma-informed approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté. This method helps clients become aware of, understand, and gently transform the unconscious dynamics that shape their lives, supporting deeper self-connection and growth.

Above all, my intention is to provide a practice that is affirming, inclusive, and welcoming to people of all ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations.

If you’re curious to know more, I’d be happy to have a chat and answer any questions before you decide if I’m the right fit for you. You’re welcome to get in touch to book a free consultation by phone or Zoom.
