I am an accredited member of APCP, Association of Professional Counsellors & Psychotherapists in Ireland. Having graduated with a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at IICP College, I am currently undergoing couples counselling placement in Accord CLG to strengthen my knowledge in working with not just the couple,
but the relationship, which should always be the primary focus in couples counselling.
Therapy is a space that allows a client to pause and reconnect. I view the space as a pivotal part of achieving a life of authenticity. In today's world where the times are ever-changing and fast-paced,
occasionally the burdens, pain, noise, and expectations can leave an individual feeling disconnected.
Providing a space for a client to feel seen and heard is where the journey to authenticity begins as the obtainment of self-awareness provides us with the tools to navigate the uncertainty of life.
I believe we are the masters of our universe and operate from a Behavioural Therapy perspective. As such, my work always involves working collaboratively with clients to identify and leverage their internal resources to assist in identifying unhelpful thoughts, behaviours, and patterns to cultivate better insight, productive coping strategies,
and more effective tools for navigating life's challenges.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, issues around self-esteem,
occupational stress, and relationship issues.
I operate under APCP's code of ethics and practice professionally under clinical supervision.
